This evening was the second run of my adult life. This time, I drank EPIC before my run to naturally improve my performance and recovery.
I ran a whole 5k, and in under 45 minutes - the time limit for one of the races I was planning to enter. did a mixture of running and power-walking, like last time, but perhaps I am almost ready for an official run. If I wasn't so exhausted, I would be doing an embarrassing celebratory dance :)
After my last run, I learnt the importance of stretching after the run, so have made sure I have done plenty of stretches this time.
On a side note: Running 5k and eating a salad means that I can eat a whole bag of sweets. That's how it works, right?? #balancedDiet
